In 1989, I was invited to join a business group investing in the self storage industry in Canberra. We constructed a 420-unit facility under the name of Oz Stor - I am still involved in its day to day operation. Oz Stor is a founding member of the Self Storage Association and I was elected to the National Committee in 1995, serving for three years, with direct involvement in the development of the Standard Self Storage Agreement.
